Kano State Governor, Kwankwaso Warns President Jonathan "Stop Intimidating The Kano People"

Gov. Rabiu Kwankwanso

At the inauguration of the National Technical Working  Group at Government House in Kano, Governor Rabi'u Kwankwaso warned President Jonathan against intimating Kano citizens.
“It is untenable for those at the Presidential Villa to be intimidating Kano people holding public offices, for telling them the truth no matter whose ox was gored.”
Attending the inauguration was Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
Kano State Governor, Kwankwaso, said it is an open secret that CBN Governor Sanusi is under pressure from the Federal Government over his revelation that some NNPC funds were not accrued into the Federation account.
He said people like the CBN bank Governor should be encouraged and held in high esteem,
“Mallam Sanusi is not an ordinary citizen of Kano but a respectable Nigerian…contributing immensely to the development of this country. He deserves to be supported and respected for saying the truth and standing by it."
