Buhari, Al-Makura, El-Rufai, Ewuga Storm Southern Kaduna On Anti-PDP Mission

Top members of the All Progressive Congress (APC), including General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.), Governor Tanko Almakura of Nasarawa, Mr. Nasir El-Rufai, Senators Solomon Ewuga and George Akume as well as Mr. Buba Galadima are presently in Kagoro, Southern Kaduna on what a source described as a major political mobilization. “The APC chieftains are on the first leg of a serious move to dislodge the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from their Kaduna stronghold,” said our source. The party top brass arrived in Kagoro to hold a political rally.
Other members of the party involved in the all-out effort include Caleb Zagi, Danlami Ikenya, General Lawal Jafaru Isah (ret.), and a former deputy governor of Kano State, Magaji Abdullahi.
Our source disclosed that the venue was filled to the brim. Former chief of naval staff, Vice Admiral Ibrahim Iko (ret.), is serving as chairman of the APC’s mobilization conference.
The source said the gathering was organized by the Democracy Emancipation Conference of Opposition Parties in the Southern Kaduna area of the state.
The move is designed to dislodge PDP from Southern Kaduna, in view of their failure to address basic issues confronting the area, particularly insecurity and underdevelopment.
The PDP since 1999 to date has been relying on the area to win its governorship and presidential elections .
